LexiSpark collects and stores the information needed to run your language learning account: profile and session data, saved vocabulary, translations, review history, reading progress, language settings, and subscription status.

Browser extension data

The LexiSpark browser extension can save words from supported video and reading websites. When you are signed in, the extension may sync the selected word, translation, surrounding sentence, source language, target language, video title, video timestamp, page/video identifier, and optional video screenshot to your LexiSpark account.

This data is used to show context during reviews, restore your vocabulary across devices, and help you continue learning from the exact moment where a word was saved. We do not sell this data.

Website and learning data

In the web app, LexiSpark stores imported texts, reading progress, saved words, CEFR level information, spaced-repetition scheduling data, review answers, and product settings so the learning experience can work consistently across sessions.

Payments

Payments and billing are processed by Polar. LexiSpark stores subscription status and billing metadata, but does not store raw card numbers or full payment credentials.

Deletion and contact

You can request deletion of your account data, vocabulary, extension-synced context, screenshots, and learning history by contacting contact@lexispark.app. We may retain limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
